Board Care

 Wood boards are tough and durable. The natural beauty of wood will add to the decor and appeal of any kitchen or home. However, natural wood boards do require some special care.

Prior to shipment, all Charcuterie Boards, serving trays and any boards in contact with food, are conditioned with our Grain Wave Creations Board Butter (also available to purchase) and will be ready to use.

Grain Wave Creations Board Butter is a blend of food grade natural ingredients from a combination of beeswax, coconut oil, and mineral oil and is designed to moisturize, protect, and maintain natural wood products.  No stain, polyurethane, or petroleum biproduct are used on any boards in contact with food. 

While our boards are sturdy and long-lasting, they will continue to require care to preserve their original appearance.

It isn’t time consuming or difficult, and if you maintain your boards as you use them; the boards will last for many years.
